Celebrating the Heart Behind HHRC
This July, we’re honoring the birthday of our founder, Karen Gonzalez-Torres, by doing what she’s dedicated her life to—supporting survivors, uplifting families, and creating healing spaces in our community.
Karen’s journey from survivor to advocate has inspired hundreds. Through HHRC, she has built a grassroots movement rooted in compassion, education, and action. In lieu of gifts, Karen asks for something more meaningful: your support for the mission she lives every day.
Join us in celebrating her heart and legacy by making a donation to HHRC’s birthday fundraiser.
Your gift will help fund:
Emergency support for survivors of domestic violence
Healing-centered art workshops for families
Trauma-informed education and advocacy
Our Community Closet providing essentials to those in need
Every dollar is a gift of healing.
🎁 Donate today in Karen’s honor and help us carry her vision forward.
